HVAC Service Technician
Pay: $25-45/hour DOE
Benefits, bonuses, and additional perks. On-going training will be provided of the course of employment.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining various HVAC systems and equipment. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC service and possess excellent technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities:
– Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
– Perform diagnostic tests on HVAC equipment to identify issues and malfunctions.
– Interpret and analyze system readings, such as temperature, pressure, voltage, and current, to determine the root cause of system failures.
– Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, including motors, fans, belts, compressors, valves, and control systems.
– Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repair/maintenance procedures, and offering recommendations for optimal system performance.
– Keep accurate records of work performed, including time, materials used, and service reports.
– Stay updated with the latest industry advancements, codes, regulations, and best practices in HVAC service and repair.
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
– Proven knowledge and experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems and equipment.
– Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
– Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex HVAC issues.
– Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
– Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
– Relevant HVAC certifications and licenses are preferred.

Pay range depends on experience, with a current range of $25 to $45 per hour. Position is currently Monday-Friday, but there may be opportunities for weekend shifts and overtime pay.
