Sprucing up the House this Spring

Home improvement DIY for springWhether it’s Spring or “Fool’s Spring,” this shoulder season tends to be a great time to do those projects you’ve been putting off. This week on You Got This!, we discuss some budget friendly projects that can add new life to your home. If it’s curb appeal, or simply making your home more comfortable, there are many easy tasks that won’t break the bank and can upgrade your home’s aesthetic.

An easy upgrade to your home is to paint your front door a new color. Depending on the period or architecture, you may be drawn to bold colors or you might stick to muted classics.  In the kitchen, you can easily create a new look by replacing the cabinet doors with glass inserts.  Accent walls are also extremely popular, possibly because it’s all the rage on the HGTV network.  If you’re going to be entertaining in your backyard you might want to paint your concrete pad or pavers with stencils. The possibilities are endless, and all suggestions are very budget friendly.
