Be sure to check around the unit, regularly. Rodents love to make their homes in and around units, they also love to chew through wires. If you have pooches that tend to urinate on and around your unit, this too can be problematic.
Inside the home, the best thing you can do to maintain your system is to change your filter, regularly. If your filter is too dirty, and your unit has to force air through the thick filter, you’ll tax your system and possibly even create much bigger problems.
